The wild funkette of Spain is a small white fig with green skin and pinkish flesh. It exists in the natural and wild state in Spain. Rich in fiber and source of calcium, magnesium, iron and manganese
The difference with the domestic fig where the hand of man intervenes to mix the male flowers towards the females, the wild fig is pollined by a blastophaga, a small wasp that allows pollination.

In September we can pick the first wild fongtes of Spain that started drying on trees. After being picked, they are then put in the sun for a few days. The harvest takes place from September to November;
